7-Spice Sriracha Beef Bowl

This is the ultimate weeknight meal. Flavoursome and balanced. Healthy doesn’t need to be bland.
 
 

Ingredients

1/4 cup fish sauce
2 tablespoons Hot Toddy 7-Spice Sriracha sauce
Juice of 2 limes
8 garlic cloves, peeled
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 fillets steak
4 large eggs
Cooked white rice
Sliced spring onion and mint

Instructions

  1. Purée marinade ingredients: fish sauce, hot toddy, lime, garlic, ginger, brown sugar.
  2. Place steak in a glass container, marinade for a minimum of 30 minutes or ideally overnight.
  3. When ready to cook, let the steak sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes. Heat a pan over medium-high until thoroughly warm. Sear the steaks, turning once, until golden and place in oven at 180 degrees die 4 minutes. Remove the steaks to a cutting board, rest for 5 minutes and slice across the grain.
  4. Serve with cooked rice, fried egg, fresh herbs and extra Hot Toddy 7-Spice Sriracha.
